This project highlights how deeply the war continues to affect Ukrainians, even those who have left the country or moved to London before the invasion. Despite the distance, they remain profoundly connected to their homeland—demonstrating unwavering love, passion, and solidarity. Through protests and public demonstrations, they unite to send a powerful and urgent message to the world: “Russia is a terrorist state.”

These images capture the raw and genuine emotions of the Ukrainian people during the protests — from deep sadness and worry to moments of hope and even joy, knowing their voices are being heard and their message about what’s happening in their homeland is reaching the world.
